How a roundtable runs
A panel is not a focus group. It is not an advisory board. It is a structured working session run by three people who are doing the job your company is trying to do right now.
Here is the shape of it.
Brief and panel.
You tell us the company and the question on the table. Either build your own three-person panel from the directory, or tell us the challenge and we recommend the right three. Sometimes the question is sharp ("can we move upmarket in the UK before Q4"). Sometimes it is broader ("why is conversion halving below the line"). Either works.
We build a three-person panel of active sales leaders against that brief. Not retired. Not on a board. Currently running a number in an adjacent company or category. Every panel is bespoke. We do not have a panel we keep recycling.
Session and readout.
The panel reviews the materials in advance. The session is structured around the question on the table. We facilitate. We do not let it become a war story competition.
You get a written readout in under two weeks from brief. It contains three things. What the panel agreed on. Where they split, and why. What they would change if they were running the company on Monday.
What the readout looks like
Tight. Specific. Quotable to a board. Not a deck. A document.
It will say things like, "All three panellists would not hire a London-based AE before the Dublin team hits eighty percent attainment, citing the same pattern in their own businesses." Not "consider hiring strategy alignment."
